Kingsbridge Royal British Legion, in partnership with Kingsbridge Town Council, have confirmed details for this year’s Remembrance Sunday Parade, taking place on Sunday, 8th November.
The event will be held at the War Memorial on Embankment Road.
Those marching are to assemble at the Town Square by 10.30am with the remainder who wish to attend the service arrive at the Memorial by 10.50am. No wet weather provision will be provided.
The Remembrance service will run from 10.55am to 11.25am. A minute’s silence will be observed at 11.00am, followed by The Last Post and wreath-laying ceremony to honour those who gave their lives in service to the nation.
The Parade will feature veterans, officer cadets from BRNC, the Sea Cadets, Air Cadets, the Silver Band, Brownies, and scouts.
We welcome everyone to join us at this service of remembrance.
A separate short service will be delivered at the memorial on Armistice Day at 11:00 on 11 November.
