Kingsbridge Royal British Legion & Kingsbridge Town Council have confirmed plans for this year’s Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service.

The event, remembering those who lost their lives fighting for their country, will take place at the War Memorial in Embankment Road (opposite the Recreation Ground) this coming Sunday 12th November at 10.45 a.m. ahead of a minute’s silence at 11.00 a.m. and a service and wreath-laying ceremony following this.

Veterans and groups wishing to march down to, and back from, the War Memorial are to assemble at the Town Square by the Kingsbridge Information Centre by 10.15 a.m.

The parade is expected to comprise of around 30/40 veterans, Officer Cadets from BRNC Dartmouth, Sea Cadets, Air Cadets, the Silver Band, Brownies and Scouts.

Hundreds of people are expected to turn out for the event and we welcome everyone to join us at this service of remembrance.
