The Turkish restaurant is asking people to donate supplies that will be transported to Turkey and the people who have been affected by the recent earthquake.
Dream Turkish Kitchen posted on social media to say that the efforts began with one little girl.
They posted: “Dear people of Kingsbridge, there were a lot of requests for help to our country, while we were thinking about them, a girl came to the shop with her family and said to us, this is my money box, please send it to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey. The words ended and we decided to accept your help.”
The Kahramanmaras earthquake has hit Turkey and Syria and the death toll is now thought to be more than 11,000 people.
