Residents are reminded that a qualified Gas Engineer MUST turn your gas supply back on – please DO NOT attempt to do this yourself. All engineers carry official ID badges, and you can verify their identity at any time by calling 0800 316 0478.
Reconnection will be prioritised for vulnerable residents, as well as care homes, hospitals, and schools. If engineers visit while you are away from home, they will leave a notice with details on how to arrange your reconnection. The same process will apply to commercial premises where no one is present.
